Parking

We will post information about parking when we have it. If there is not parking in Caroline Gardens, you may be able to park in the large car park outside Toys R Us. (This is why public transport is for winners :)

From the south via A202

Get on the A202 (Peckham Road / Queen's Road) heading east. At Queen's Road Peckham station, turn left onto Asylum Road. Caroline Gardens will be on your left after less than half a mile.

From the north via A2

Get on the A2 (Old Kent Road) heading south. After the road narrows and you pass the gas works on your left, turn right into Asylum Road, which is before Toys R Us. Caroline Gardens will be on your right after a few hundred feet.

Public transport

The smart Londoner gets around by public transport. By reading this section you are clearly a more discerning traveller. Peckham has no tube station, so your two options to go by rail or by bus.

Rail

The overground stops at Queen's Road Peckham station. The station is about 10 minutes' walk away from Asylum London, but rail travel avoids traffic. Check the Transport for London website for a journey planner and news of rail disruptions.

From London Euston, take the Victoria Line to Green Park, then the Jubilee Line to Canada Water, then the Overground to Queen's Road Peckham.

From London King's Cross, take the Victoria Line to Highbury & Islington, then the Overground to Queen's Road Peckham. Alternatively, take the Northern Line to London Bridge, then the Overground to Queen's Road Peckham.

From London Paddington, take the Bakerloo Line to Baker Street, the Jubilee Line to Canada Water, then the Overground to Queen's Road Peckham.

Bus

The bus stops closer to Asylum London than the Overground, but it more prone to traffic. London buses announce each stop before it comes, so you don't need to worry about knowing the area.

First get to Elephant & Castle, via the Northern Line from Euston or King's Cross and via the Bakerloo Line from Paddington.

From Elephant & Castle bus top J, take the 53 towards Plumstead Common, the 453 towards Deptford Bridge or the 172 towards Brockley Rise. Alight at Commercial Way / Old Kent Road, after about 20 minutes. Carry on down Old Kent Road and take the next right into Asylum Road. Caroline Gardens will be on your right after a few hundred feet.

You can also take the P12 bus directly to Caroline Gardens, but the route probably won't be convenient for most guests.
